Inter could make some money if Coutinho goes to Barcelona
Inter could get some money if Philippe Coutinho goes to Barcelona.
According to Article 21 of the FIFA Rules on Player Transfers, “if a professional player leaves before the end of his contract, any club that has contributed to his education and football training must receive a percentage of the fee paid to his previous club. All clubs are involved where the player played between the age of 12 and 23.”
This percentage is 5%. So if Coutinho leaves for Barcelona for a fee of 120 million, Inter will make around three million euros. This is because the 5% (6 million of 120), is split with Vasco da Gama.
